On the third anniversary of the “We won’t pay” campaign, and 43rd memory of the assasination of international freedom fighter Ernesto Che Guevara, Michel Elefteriades welcomes Dr Aleida Guevara

Michel Elefteriades hosted a dinner on Sunday October 10,at Utopia Now, the itinerant headquarters of the Empire of Nowheristan, in honor of Dr Aleida Guevara, the eldest daughter of the international freedom fighter Ernesto Che Guevara. Were present the Ambassador of Cuba in Lebanon, H.E. Manuel María Serrano Acosta, members of the “Lebanese Solidarity Committee to free the five Cuban detainees”, and a number of international intellectuals and journalists.

This event coincided with the third anniversary of the launching of the “We won’t pay” campaign initiated by Michel Elefteriades in 2007 from the same Utopia Now, and also with the 43rd honorable memory of the assassination of Ernesto Che Guevara.

The Nowheristani military musical band played the “International” anthem in honor of the guest.

Elefteriades had spent several years in exile in Cuba back in the nineties.
